  • International Women’s Day Programme at COEB College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB) organized one brainstorming session on the theme of International Women’s Day - 2022, “Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” at Koustuv Technical Campus. During this session, each student writes down 5 points on the theme and presents their point of view for the rest. All the ideas have been written down to solve the problems of gender equality. It has been complied with to draw out a plan to arrest this menace. The programme ended with a hope to achieve a sustainable tomorrow with the acceleration of numerous initiatives to curb the gap. Prof. (Dr.) Subrat Kumar Mohanty, Principal COEB and Prof. (Dr.) Sujit Kumar Khuntia joined this brainstorming session to encourage the students. The programme was coordinated by Shri Partha Sarathi Ghosh, PRO KGI.
  • QUIZ ON NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB) organized one Quiz Competition on the eve of National Science Day at Koustuv Technical Campus. It was an examination comprising of objective questions that test the level of awareness on modern day science among the students. This quiz competition covers a range of topics like, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Space Science and Computer Science. Before the commencement of the quiz, a brief introduction about the scientific deepness by the Indian’s was explained by Shri Partha Sarathi Ghosh, with special reference to our some of the ancient scientist like, Aryabhatta, Varahamihira, Maharshi Khand, Brahmgupta, Sushruta and Charaka.

His birthday is observed as ‘Panchayati Raj Diwas’ in Odisha. On this auspicious occasion, former Hon’ble Minister Dr. Damodar Rout garlands the statue of Biju Patnaik and offered floral tributes at Koustuv Technical Campus. In his address, he recalled some of his various landmark decisions taken during his lifetime and its long term positive impact on our society. Other dignitaries present and spoke in the remembrance, were Prof. (Dr.) Sadasiv Dash, GM administration KGI, Prof. (Dr.) Sujit Kumar Khuntia, Dean R&D COEB.

  • Workshop on “Powertrain in Electric Vehicles” at COEB Workshop on “Powertrain in Electric Vehicles” organized by the College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB) in collaboration with Skyy Riders Institutions on 3rd & 4th March 2022 at Koustuv Technical Campus. Resource persons from Skyy Riders Institutions, Shri Susant Kumar Sethy, Shri Jyoti Ranjan Singh and Shri Sanjay Kumar Baral taught the students about the relevance of EV technology, current position and its future perspectives, particularly in Indian context. They cover both theoretical as well as practical aspects for better understanding. In their training they focused around electric vehicles, powertrain, charging infrastructure, batteries and connectivity software and so on.
