AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR INDIAN NAVY CAREER The College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (COEB) organised an awareness programme on the career opportunities in the Indian Navy after completion of their engineering degree, headed by CDR John Dalloor, INS Nataji Subhas. They shed light on life at sea, naval aviation, the nuclear submarine of India, advance helicopters, long-range maritime patrol aircraft, frigates, destroyers, and so on. They informed all of us that as an Engineer Officer, students will get the opportunity to operate and maintain the Marine Engineering equipment onboard ships, submarines, and aircraft, in addition to working in repair yards and maintenance units. Further, as an engineer officer, they also get a chance to work in design and production organisations to contribute to indigenous shipbuilding.
